tried to use the busway, asking ppl on the road, how to buy the tix n directions, turned out htat busway rocks!

1. airconditioned
2. safe boarding and alighting, even safer than the mrt
3. no jam
4. fast
5. no robbers, how about pickpockets, hmmm
6. easy, wont get lost, with fiixed terminals/stations, just like MRT, the only diff is it's a bus..
7. cheap, same price for all distance, just like the student fare mrt card
8. no smoke, no CO, no dust, less risk of lung cancer

.....all the qualities that nv been found b4 in any of the modes of transportation in jakarta! cant wait till they opened up new routes, i may not need to get a car or a bike to travel around next time if i really come back here to live. Till then, hope not much price hike, those idiotic robbers have yet to find ways to terrorise commuters like they do in normal buses.....i think the drivers dressed too formal, with ties n suits, u think wot, pilots? hahaha, just find this point rather amusing....

Busway- it's good, and the city should build more, FASTER!

this is the plan, all the routes they are planning to build, somehow i doubt it will turn out like planned, knowing the authorities here, Line 2 or 3 that is now under construction is pretty much different from original design.

I take the 1st one, Kota to Blok M

Hope there is one passing Mangga Dua, the best place in Jakarta, best shopping haven, computer centre, all u wan, u can get there, even fat nadia knows 'two mangoes' --> direct translation. I swear i saw one under construction there, but the ppl here said i got cocked eye.

wot happen to mrt, monorail, brt?

ppl mock at the authorities' decision to make busway, to cut narrow the roads to make a lane especially just for busway, in the already so packed, so jammed up roads in Jakarta, but there are reasons,

1. to decrease traffic jam, ironically
2. to decrease the cars, decrease pollution, nice try man
3. more traffic order, by slowly doing away with the old types like mikrolet, bus, maybe bajaj
4. affordable, on-time, safer transportation for the public

orderly jakarta? very very hard to imagine, and chaos is its forte, anyway, this post got nothing to do with xmas eve, just like the title suggest, why? cos no qi fen here this year, sucks lar..... there is still tv with ppl singing xmas songs and opera n angmoh shows, but some bozzo made me stick with the phone till so late n i miss those shows.....the point is i know how to get around here already! have myself a merry little christmas......
